Clair Dodd, Lost 11 stone and counting!
I started my healthy eating in January of 2008, and by the beginning of February I had lost 2 stone, I then thought it would be a good idea to start some sort of exercise so I joined Fitness First and signed up to the health scheme, I was introduced to Dan as he would be monitoring my progress and that’s when it all started.
I initially saw Dan on my health scheme sessions but after a couple of weeks I realised how good he was so I booked him for a full month, I chose to do 1 hour sessions 5 days a week, which was the hardest month of my life and I truly mean that. Dan not only showed me different exercises, he helped me with my diet, he advised me what foods to eat what to avoid and what foods would help me lose weight. Because of all these life changing experiences that was happening to me and my body, I was not in the best of moods however Dan continued to encourage me and make it enjoyable which is sometimes half the battle, this must have been awful for Dan at times.
After the month was up I could only afford to have Dan a few times a week, however he has continued to support me and guide me in the right direction, in our training sessions and also in any other time I have needed any guidance, I really feel I get 100% from Dan at all times, which has been really good as I had never been in to a gym before.
It’s been exactly 1 year since I changed my life and in total I have lost nearly 10 stone, which I am really shocked about, I never thought I could lose that amount of weight and I still have the determination to lose more.
I’m really glad I was introduced to Dan he has helped change my life for the better, he is a fantastic trainer and I could not wish to meet a nicer person. Dan has been my trainer from the start and knows me really well now, he knows just how far to push me and more. The support I have received off him has been outstanding, he is 100% committed to his clients and his job, he is an asset to the gym and I am so thankful he is my Personal Trainer because I really don’t think I would have got this far without his continuous support and guidance.
